SAUNAWAGEN
(COMIC x GENDER)

In August 2018, I participated in a comic
workshop in Hamburg, dealing with gender issues, with a drawing artist, Tina
Kaden and 10 other participants.
When I lived in Berlin, I used to often go for walks, through a car park near a dance studio. One particular day, while on one of these walks, I saw a mobile sauna in the middle of the car park. There was a window, through which I could see the backs of many young men and women enjoying the sauna together. To my horror, some even came out of it naked. I was totally flabbergasted.
